    Smoother invitations to subscribe

    Invite links drop clients onto one screen with the service, price, and sign-in if they need it, then Stripe checkout. We cut the extra screen that sat in front of that.

    Details

    • Name, price, billing type (one-time vs recurring), and a short summary stay on that first view the whole time.
    • Sign-in and sign-up send people back to the same invite URL afterward so nothing gets lost.
    • One-time and subscriptions share the same path. Checkout is still Stripe underneath.
    • If you paste the link in email or Slack, people know what they are buying before they pull out a card.

    Invoice history in the client portal

    The Billing tab lists old charges, amounts, and whether something is paid or still open. It reads from the same Stripe data you already trust.

    Details

    • Totals and line descriptions should match what you see in Stripe and what finance expects.
    • Each row has a date, a label, an amount, and a status. Clients can check it themselves instead of emailing you for a receipt story.
    • Subscriptions and one-off charges show in one list, which quiets a lot of renewal confusion at month end.
    • Loading and empty states are real, so a new client with no history does not hit a blank broken-looking page.

    Automatic invoicing when clients pay

    A completed portal purchase creates invoice records for you. Less copying numbers by hand and fewer last-minute PDF hunts.

    Details

    • Checkout writes the invoice entry. You are not retyping amounts into something else.
    • Line items follow what they bought, which helps when they ask for a breakdown months later.
    • Recurring charges still settle in Stripe. Harbory is where the team reads the history together.
    • You should hear "resend the invoice" less often because the trail already lives in the portal.

    Inbox alerts for new client requests

    When someone files a request from the portal, it hits the shared inbox with client, service, and title in view. Easier than fishing through individual Gmail threads.

    Details

    • New requests sit with payments, comments, and the rest of the feed instead of off in their own corner.
    • Enough context to triage from the list without opening five browser tabs first.
    • Lowers the odds that a request only exists in one person's inbox while they are on PTO.
    • Use the inbox for what just came in; use the board for where work actually sits. Same underlying request.

    New guides for services, requests, and the portal

    Docs now walk through publishing services, using the request board, and the client-side portal in plain steps. Onboarding a hire should take less live screen sharing.

    Details

    • Services: public vs hidden, pricing, billing mode, and how the offer shows to clients.
    • Requests: column layout and how updates get to clients.
    • Portal: subscribe, pay, billing history, and filing a request, written from the buyer's side.
    • Wording matches the labels in the app so people can read and click without a glossary.

    Kanban board for client work

    Requests live on a simple three-column board (backlog, in progress, done). Built for how small agencies actually talk about jobs, not a bespoke workflow language.

    Details

    • Three columns. No custom stage names to train the whole studio on.
    • Cards carry title, client, service, and status. Fine for a Monday morning scan.
    • When the queue gets fat, a board shows a stuck column faster than a single long list.
    • What clients submit from the portal shows up as a card. You do not re-enter it.
