Documentation
Practical guides for modern service businesses: services, client collaboration, delivery, and billing in Harbory.
Services
Services are the foundation of your Harbory workspace. They represent what your business sells to clients: fixed-fee work, ongoing retainers, or anything in between.
Creating a Service
Navigate to Services from the sidebar and click + Add Service to open the creation form.

Billing Types
Harbory supports flexible billing to match how you sell:
- One-time — A single payment for a defined piece of work (e.g., an audit, an implementation package)
- Bi-weekly — Recurring charges every two weeks
- Monthly — The most common recurring option for retainers
- Yearly — Annual subscriptions for long-term clients
Visibility
Control which services appear in your client portal:
- Public — Visible to all visitors on your portal. Clients can browse and purchase directly.
- Hidden — Not shown in the portal. Useful for custom packages, internal services, or services you create manually for specific clients.
Managing Services
Editing a Service
Click on any service in the table to edit its details. All fields can be updated at any time, including pricing and billing type.
Generating a Signup Link
Each service can have a unique signup link that takes clients directly to the purchase flow:
- Click the link icon next to a service
- A unique link will be generated
- Copy and share this link directly with clients
- Clients who visit the link will be taken straight to checkout for that service
Deleting a Service
Services can be deleted from the services table. Note that deleting a service does not affect existing projects or subscriptions created from that service.
Service Table
Your services are displayed in a clean table with the following columns:
- Service — Name and description
- Price — Formatted price with billing interval
- Visibility — Public or Hidden badge
- Signup Link — Quick-copy link for sharing
- Actions — Edit and delete options
Best Practices
- Start with your core offerings — Create 3-5 services that represent your most common packages
- Use clear naming — Service names should be immediately understandable to clients
- Add descriptions — Help clients understand exactly what they're getting
- Use visibility strategically — Keep draft or custom services hidden until ready to share
